Contemporary Collage Session
Saturday 30 August 1.15pm – 4.15pm
Have you ever been told not to cut up books? In this hands-on workshop, you’ll be encouraged to do just that! But instead of destroying things, you’ll get to create a whole new world of your own using collage – almost like a dream, but on paper.
Rochelle will introduce to you to this magical art form, teach you collage techniques and gently guide you throughout the workshop to create a unique artwork straight from your imagination.
The workshop will be held in Rochelle’s studio at Montsalvat, an incredibly calming find-yourself sort of place that makes people leave with a fulfilled smile and sense of connection.
All materials will be provided including access to an eclectic collection of a specially curated paper ephemera, such as vintage children’s books, encyclopaedias, National Geographics, vintage calendars, etc.
Light refreshments will be available (tea/coffee facilities & often some light snacks, too). You are more than welcome to bring your own food/ plate to share. Please advise if you have any life-threating dietary or allergen concerns.
Includes all materials and a folder to take home.
