Sip & Snip Collage

$69.00

Saturday 30 August 6.00pm - 9.00pm

Need some time out? Need an escape? Then become the creator of your very own visual journey where you get to dabble in what some artists may call the dark arts of contemporary art - collage.

Have you ever been told not to cut up books? In this hands-on workshop, you’ll be encouraged to do just that! But instead of destroying things, you’ll get to create a whole new world of your own using collage – almost like a dream, but on paper.

Rochelle will introduce to you to this magical art form, teach you collage techniques and gently guide you throughout the workshop to create a unique artwork straight from your imagination.

The workshop will be held in Rochelle’s studio at Montsalvat, an incredibly calming and healing place that makes people leave with a fulfilled smile and sense of connection.

All materials will be provided including access to an eclectic collection of a specially curated paper ephemera, such as vintage children’s books, encyclopaedias, National Geographics, vintage calendars, etc.

Light refreshments (bubbles, tea/coffee & light snacks) will be served with French background music. You are more than welcome to bring your own food/ plate to share. Please advise if you have any life-threating dietary or allergen concerns.
