$140.00

Sunday 31 August 9.30am - 12.30pm

Get your hands floury and your kitchen fermenting in this fun, delicious introduction to the world of sourdough!

In this hands-on workshop with Jordy from Little Patch Project, you’ll learn the magic of wild fermentation and the satisfying rhythm of sourdough baking. Jordy will guide you through every step — from caring for a bubbly starter to stretching and shaping dough, all the way to pulling your delicious creations from the oven.

Jordy will teach you about the principles and flexibility of sourdough and expand your knowledge past making a bread loaf to adjusting simple recipes to capture the benefits of sourdough.

Workshop Highlights:

  • Take home your very own live sourdough starter

  • Learn the techniques for mixing, kneading, stretching, and folding

  • Bake a fresh loaf of sourdough bread to enjoy on the day

  • Prepare a ball of sourdough pizza dough to take home and bake whenever you’re ready

  • Taste fresh sourdough with a selection of delicious accompaniments

Whether you’re a total beginner or you've dabbled in dough before, this workshop will give you the confidence, tools, and inspiration to keep baking at home.

Come for the crust, stay for the crumbs — and leave with the skills to rise again and again.

  • 1 litre container to transport your pizza dough

  • Aprons recommended (please bring your own if desired)
